Browsealoud
Browsealoud is a speech-enabling tool which makes our website more accessible to people with visual impairment and other reading difficulties. Content is spoken aloud as the cursor is moved over it. Browsealoud software is free to download.
Some documents on this site are provided as Adobe PDFs. There are features and capabilities of Adobe products that enhance electronic document accessibility for people with disabilities such as blindness, low vision, and motor impairments. You can find information and links to resources that help people with disabilities work more effectively with Adobe software.
Make text larger/smaller
This website can be optimised for people with reading difficulties or visual impairments. To change text size, choose 'View' on your browser, then select 'Text size' and click the size you require. Unselecting the option will return text to its original size.
Other accessibility features
- We do not use frames.
- We use alternative text (alt text) to describe the content of pictures.
- We have increased contrast between background and text for readability.
- Fields in online forms can be navigated with the keyboard 'Tab' key.
- We avoid colour combinations that may make the pages less accessible to people with colour blindness.
